Required Qualifications

Current Professional Land Surveyor License for the State of Nebraska
Experience researching record-of-surveys and locating monuments
Experience preparing legal descriptions, filing plats, recording survey, and preparing easements
Experience collecting survey data to support civil engineering design projects
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record

Desirable Qualifications

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Carlson software
Construction staking experience
Experience with Trimble surveying product

Key Responsibilities

Work as project manager with other surveyors to complete surveys
Prepare legal descriptions
Plan and organize surveying efforts to determine precise location and measurements and contours for design and construction
Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
Perform field surveying to obtain data for base plans
